Shop Fiberglass Fabrication TechnicianPay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Job Summary
The Shop Fiberglass Fabrication Technician is responsible for fabricating structures using structural FRP shapes. On-the-job training will be provided to teach all aspects of FRP structural fabrication.
Work Activities
- Taking accurate measurements
- Cutting and drilling materials
- Laying out materials for cutting
- Performing regular equipment maintenance
- Assisting other technicians with shop tasks
- Processing raw materials for daily production
- High School diploma (minimum)
- General fabrication skills
- Experience using hand tools and shop power tools
- Ability to stage raw materials for production
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Flexibility to adapt to changing production schedules
- Willing to travel onshore and offshore
- Ability to lift 30+ lbs.
- Ability to work in tight spaces and around hot, moving parts
- Bilingual
