Responsible for proper and efficient mold setups, startups, shutdowns, process troubleshooting in the production of highly cosmetic and tight tolerance products by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities:
Responsibilities- Responsible for performing mold setups, startups, shutdowns, and process troubleshooting in the production of highly cosmetic and tight tolerance products.
- Participates in process improvement activities to optimize quality and output
- Assist in providing adequate and timely coaching, mentoring, direction, training, and support to material handlers
- Drives effective and timely communication to all assigned shift personnel on machine issues, maintenance, tooling, and production as required
- Provides and delivers adequate and effective performance feedback as appropriate (annual performance appraisals, on‑the‑job coaching, and “90‑day review”)
- Ensures that all aspects of the Quality Policy and Objectives are understood and enacted.
- Maintains Win Control system for cycle sheets
- Follows safety requirements as outlined in the safety manual.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Educational RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalency is . Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree for a candidate who can demonstrate the combination of experience, training and education to be capable of successfully fulfilling all duties and responsibilities of the position.
Experience Requirements2 + years of process technology and troubleshooting of complex injection molding. Machinery, equipment, and tools.
RJG and Paulson training is highly desired for this role.
At minimum, can add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Training RequirementsForklift Certification;
Safety and Quality training;
Hazard Materials Training
Medium Work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and / or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Visual AcuityThe worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as; preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and or operation or machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distance close to the eyes.
