The OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented fabricator with MIG welding experience to join our team and support the fabrication, repair, and assembly of signage structures and related components. In this role, you will work with a variety of materials and welding methods to help produce high-quality finished products that meet project specifications, safety standards, and customer expectations.
Responsibilities- Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication work on signage frames, supports, brackets, and related components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, and work orders to determine project requirements.
- Select appropriate materials, tools, and welding techniques based on project specifications.
- Inspect finished work for accuracy, quality, and structural integrity.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
- Measure, cut, fit, and assemble metal components to exact dimensions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Communicate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to support efficient workflow.
- Assist with installation preparation and other fabrication-related tasks as needed.
- Experience in welding, metal fabrication, or a related field.
- Must be able to MIG weld aluminum.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and measurements.
- Knowledge of common welding processes and fabrication tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to use measuring tools accurately and consistently.
- Physical ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and perform hands-on work.
- Understanding of workplace safety practices and welding best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification in welding or metal fabrication.
- Experience working with signage, structural metal, or custom fabrication projects.
- Familiarity with TIG welding process.
- Experience using fabrication equipment such as saws, shears, routers, etc.
- Familiarity with workplace safety practices and personal protective equipment.
