• Hands‑on ownership of manual lathes, mills, and conventional shop tools.
• Blueprint‑to‑part execution: plan setups, select tools, and cut to tolerance.
• Quality‑first mindset: inspect, verify, and document results.
• Partnership with engineering to solve problems quickly and safely.

• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and other machining equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Measure and inspect finished products to meet quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Collaborate with engineers and team members to troubleshoot machining issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Document processes and keep accurate records of work performed.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; machining certification or technical training is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience as a manual machinist or similar position.
• Deep knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and prints.
• High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Knowledge of machining safety standards and practices.
