Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Quality Manager to lead and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) for a global manufacturer of industrial equipment and air movement solutions serving mission‑critical, heavy‑duty industries including oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, mining, metals, and industrial processing.

This role is responsible for ensuring product quality, manufacturing compliance, supplier quality performance, and continuous improvement initiatives across all operations. The Quality Manager will work cross‑functionally with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer‑facing teams to maintain the highest standards of product reliability, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, deep manufacturing quality expertise, and experience within industrial equipment, rotating equipment, fabricated metal products, or heavy industrial manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and company standards.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality policies, procedures, inspection plans, and process controls.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, and corrective/preventive action methodologies.
  • Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, customer requirements, and industry standards.
  • Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve product quality, process capability, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage internal and external quality audits, customer audits, and certification activities.
  • Lead investigations related to non-conformances, warranty claims, customer complaints, and supplier quality issues.
  • Establish and monitor key quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting systems to track performance and drive accountability.
  • Develop and maintain supplier quality programs, including supplier evaluations, audits, and corrective action management.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable industry codes, standards, and customer specifications relevant to industrial fan manufacturing and heavy industrial equipment.
  • Mentor, train, and develop quality personnel while fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with global teams and customers to support quality initiatives across multiple regions and manufacturing operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or related technical field preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive quality leadership experience within industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in heavy industrial equipment, rotating equipment, fabricated steel products, HVAC equipment, process equipment, or similar industries strongly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems and audit processes.
  • Proven experience with root cause analysis methodologies, CAPA systems, statistical process control, and continuous improvement tools.
  • Familiarity with welding, fabrication, machining, balancing, coatings, and assembly processes is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with customer specifications and quality requirements in oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, or industrial process industries preferred.
  • ASQ certifications (CQE, CQM, Six Sigma Black Belt, etc.) are a plus.
  • Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and quality documentation/reporting tools.
