Koch Specialty Plant Services (KSPS) provides tower, vessel, and mass transfer equipment services to the refining and chemical industry.
What You Will DoWeld according to engineering specifications on plant process equipment and structural steel. Possess a basic understanding and application of making boiler repairs on pressure vessels such as reactors, exchangers, piping, towers and drums.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)- 2 years of general welding experience or successful completion of a vocational welding training program.
- Must be able to pass a weld qualification test, with tests including Plate Test, Nozzle Test, GTAW (TIG) Test, Overlay Test, and Flux Core Test.
- Must have a current TWIC Card or the ability to obtain one.
- Must be willing and able to meet all company and customer project entry requirements, including training, background check, and drug test.
- 1 year or more of industrial plant experience making weld repairs to coded pressure vessels, reactors, towers and drums.
- A welding certificate and/or vocational welding training.
- Basic Plus Orientation and Confined Space Training.
- Successful completion of an NCCER craft assessment test.
