Job Title: Plant Labor

Location: Houston, TX  United States

Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM (1st Shift)

Pay rate: USD $15.00

Contract: Temp to hire

Key Qualifications
  • It is preferred that candidates have previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, and have an awareness of safety protocol.
  • It is also preferred that candidates are English speaking or bilingual, as safety training and communication is in English.
  • Candidates must be able to stand throughout the day. This site operates 12 hour shifts, and with the exception of break, they will be standing the entire shift.
  • May need to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Contingent workers will be required to wear steel toe or composite safety shoes/boots.
  • Environment is not climate controlled. It is an enclosed warehouse. Environment is dusty, as paper is being shredded to be recycled into thermal insulation.
Core Responsibilities
  • Contingent worker will be feeding paper, magazines and cardboard onto a conveyor belt to be shredded. The paper will be shredded to be used to make acoustic thermal insulation.
