This opportunity is with a global specialty chemical manufacturer that is starting up a brand new site in the Houston area that will be operational in 12 months. This new plant will be manufacturing specialty chemicals in batches that will be used in all sorts of industries such as consumer products, industrial materials, and agriculture. This is a role that will have you in the field interacting with multiple teams on site.
You’ll own the PSM program while being the gatekeeper for any MOC’s as the site is being developed all the way until operational launch. You’ll be involved with and facilitating PHA’s and HAZOPS, ensuring that the site is compliant with all safety regulations. Once production starts and the facility is running, you’ll be assisting with day-to-day risk evaluations, root-cause analysis, & overall hazards.
