CNC Operator

You'll play a vital role in our Production team by:

  • Assist in performing setups.
  • Perform machine adjustments, changeovers, and offset adjustments as needed
  • Select and load part programs, and change inserts and tooling
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, including checking and replenishing cooling fluids and making necessary adjustments (CCLs)
  • Operate CNC lathe in accordance with Vallourec operating instructions.
  • Use precision gages, micrometers, and other applicable measurement instruments to validate compliance of product.
  • Always maximize efficiency and productivity
  • Responsible for quality of work meeting all requirements
  • Follow all Company work instructions, specifications, and requirements
  • Follow all Company Rules, Procedures and Policies
  • Always place Safety first and follow all Company Safety Rules
  • Any other duties as assigned
  • Must read, write, and communicate in the English language

We're looking for candidates who are sharp, safety-focused, and ready to roll up their sleeves:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a CNC Operator in previous job/or 1 year experience as Production Operator.
  • Must have a good understanding of machine shop operations and processes.
  • Ability to read blueprints, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to understand and execute instructions well.
  • Must read, write, and communicate in the English language.
