Skills:

Ability to use a variety of measuring devices efficiently.

Strong basic math skills.

Knowledge of thermal spray techniques.

High regard to safety.

Ability to interpret shop router instructions.

Ability to communicate both verbally and written.

Familiar with various HVOF operating controls.

Perform minor preventive maintenance.

Initiative to maintain a steady workflow.

A self-starter and able to complete tasks with a minimum of guidance.

Responsibilities:

Ensure safe work practices.

Ensure that company documents are correctly filled out.

Maintain constant machine operation to sustain workflow.

Maintain the size of parts according to instructions and/or drawings.

Maintain inspection tools for accuracy.

Determine best setup practices to best coat parts.

Ensure the use of proper coating materials.

Ensure that all gases used in the coating process are maintained at good working levels.

Oversee the work performance of blast operators.

Be a team player.

Follow all company rules and policies.

Maintain clean and organized work area.

Report to work on time, control absenteeism and follow work schedules.
