We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Production Operator to support daily operations within our steel coil processing facility. This position plays a vital role in maintaining efficient production by assisting with machine operation, equipment setup, material handling, quality verification, and general production support. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast‑paced industrial environment, takes pride in producing quality work, and is committed to working safely as part of a team.

• Assist in the operation of slitting lines and other steel coil processing equipment.
• Support machine setup activities, including slitter head changes and tooling preparation under the direction of experienced operators.
• Assist with loading, staging, and moving steel coils and processed material using overhead cranes, forklifts, or other material handling equipment (training provided as required).
• Monitor production processes and report equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards to leadership.
• Perform routine housekeeping and maintain an organized work area following 5S standards.
• Support preventive maintenance activities and basic equipment inspections.
• Conduct basic quality inspections to verify product meets customer specifications.
• Read and follow work orders, production schedules, and operating procedures.
• Move between production areas as needed to support operational demands.
• Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Work collaboratively with operators, maintenance personnel, supervisors, and fellow team members to achieve production goals.

• Previous manufacturing, steel processing, or industrial experience preferred but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and maintain attention to quality.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedules as production demands require.
