Machine Operator

Position: Machine Operator I
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machine Operator I to join their team. As a Machine Operator I, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Responsible for all aspects of receiving, preparation, coating, and inspection of all tooling.

+ Read and interpret prints or work instructions to ensure tools and dies are prepared according to specifications.

+ Visually inspect tooling for damages and defects, using measuring equipment such as tape measures, calipers, gauges, and straight edges.

+ Operate equipment including flame spraying machines, sandblasting equipment, ovens, overhead bridge cranes, jib cranes, forklifts, and side loaders.

+ Package tools for shipping and maintain tooling inventory systems.

** What's Needed?*
* + Minimum 1-4 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.

+ Ability to read prints and determine tolerances accurately.

+ Physical capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs) and work in varying temperature conditions.

+ Legal authorization to work in the United States; verification required at hire.

+ Knowledge of safety and environmental health standards applicable to manufacturing environments.
