Position Summary
Set-upand/or operate CNC mills and/or CNC lathes while maintaining safety, quality and productivity, document set-ups, fixtures and tooling , used on each operation
Responsibilities- Load programs and follow set up sheets
- Review engineering drawings for tooling required
- Basic set up and machine operation
- Inspect each part against drawings to ensure accuracy and finishes
- Maintain equipment and clean work area
- Handle all other duties as requested by management
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to understand and read programing code preferred
- Basic knowledge of CNC machine techniques
- Tooling and precision machining experience preferred
- Ability to operate multiple machines
- Ability to perform manual math calculation
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to read and understand complex drawings preferred
- Ability to perform job duties with supervision
