Position: Machine Operator I

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machine Operator I to join their team. As a Machine Operator I, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator I

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Range: $19.00

Shift: 1st Shift

What's the Job?
  • Responsible for all aspects of receiving, preparation, coating, and inspection of all tooling.
  • Read and interpret prints or work instructions to ensure tools and dies are prepared according to specifications.
  • Visually inspect tooling for damages and defects, using measuring equipment such as tape measures, calipers, gauges, and straight edges.
  • Operate equipment including flame spraying machines, sandblasting equipment, ovens, overhead bridge cranes, jib cranes, forklifts, and side loaders.
  • Package tools for shipping and maintain tooling inventory systems.
What's Needed?
  • Minimum 1-4 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read prints and determine tolerances accurately.
  • Physical capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs) and work in varying temperature conditions.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States; verification required at hire.
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental health standards applicable to manufacturing environments.
