Job Summary:

Duties include supplying or holding materials or tools, cleaning work area and equipment; operating machinery, recording inspected products, loading and unloading materials, counting and determining completion of orders.

• Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected, and notify operators of any malfunctions.
• Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.
• Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete.
• Mark or tag identification on parts.
• Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
• Help production workers by performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, cleaning work areas and equipment, and cleaning of doors and frame components.
• Clean and lubricate equipment.
• Record information such as the number of products inspected, and dates and times of product production.
• Other assigned tasks at direction of Supervision.

High school diploma or GED certificate and/or industrial experience.

• Mechanical ability.
• Reading various dimensional mythology instruments.
• Knowledge of production & processing: materials, processes, and quality control.
• Tools and Technology:
  Forklifts, hammers, hoists, jacks, pipe jacks, ladders, screwdrivers, slings, tape measures, hand tools, measuring instruments, power tools such as saws, mechanical machines, paint systems, assembly operations.

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment.
