* For a manufacturing-focused client supported by Adecco, we are seeking a Maintenance Parts Specialist to work on 2nd shift and support production and facility maintenance operations. In this role, you will manage maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) inventory, control spare parts levels, and help maintain equipment reliability across manufacturing and production operations. You will work closely with maintenance, production, engineering, and purchasing teams to coordinate parts procurement, maintain accurate records in ERP and CMMS systems, and minimize equipment downtime.
This position requires strong inventory control skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment.

** What You Will Do?*
* + Manage maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) inventory for production equipment and facility assets in alignment with maintenance and production requirements.
+ Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP, CMMS, or inventory management systems and generate inventory and purchasing reports for maintenance leadership.
+ Monitor stock levels, reorder critical spare parts to prevent shortages, and expedite urgent orders by coordinating with vendors and purchasing teams.
+ Receive, inspect, label, and organize incoming maintenance parts and supplies, ensuring proper storage and organization of maintenance parts, tools, and consumables.
+ Perform regular cycle counts, assist with annual physical inventory audits, and track equipment spare parts usage to identify opportunities to optimize inventory levels.
+ Create and update parts catalogs, equipment bills of materials (BOMs), and inventory documentation to support maintenance technicians and engineering staff.
+ Support maintenance technicians by locating and issuing required parts in a timely manner and researching replacement components or equivalent parts when necessary.
+ Follow all company safety policies, maintain a clean, organized storeroom environment, and support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy, cost control, and equipment reliability.
** Your Skills*
* + High school diploma or GED, with at least 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, maintenance storeroom management, or MRO environments.
+ Experience using inventory management, ERP, or CMMS systems, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications for data entry and inventory reporting.
+ Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills, with the ability to read part specifications, equipment manuals, and technical documentation accurately.
+ Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform physical inventory duties, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
+ Knowledge of inventory control and cycle counting, spare parts planning and forecasting, and cost-conscious decision making in fast-paced manufacturing operations.
+ Experience in manufacturing, industrial, automotive, energy, or equipment maintenance environments, with knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
+ Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification, and familiarity with SAP, Oracle, Maximo, MP2, or similar systems used for inventory and maintenance management.
+ Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate effectively with vendors, suppliers, production, maintenance, engineering, and supply chain personnel.
