2nd Shift Cycle Count Group Leader

Emerson is seeking a motivated and dependable 2nd Shift Cycle Count Team Leader to join our warehouse team in Houston, Texas
.

Current working schedule: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm. Schedules may change. Overtime opportunities as needed.

• Coordinate the daily activities of the cycle count team, assigning work and providing training, coaching, and support.
• Lead inventory control efforts by performing cycle counts, audits, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, perform recounts when needed, and help implement corrective actions.
• Monitor team performance and maintain high standards for productivity, accuracy, and quality.
• Inspect inventory for proper storage and physical condition, reporting issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain accurate cycle count records, complete required documentation, and follow all safety policies and SOPs.
• Support operational needs through special projects, additional duties, and overtime when required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of cycle counting and/or warehouse experience.
• ERP system experience.
• Forklift license or experience.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office tools and Outlook.
• Basic Excel skills (bonus for VLOOKUP and Pivot Table experience).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship not provided.

• Lift up to 35 lbs regularly.
• Work from floor level to 15 ft.
• Work in a seated or standing position for long periods.

• Inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment.
