Location: Northeast Houston, TX
Pay: $20.00–$21.00 per hour (based on experience) | Weekly Pay
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Weekends & Overtime: Based on company needs
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Openwork is hiring an experienced Machine Operator (Shop Worker) for a leading manufacturing company in Northeast Houston. • Operate and monitor heavy industrial production equipment.
• Set up machines according to production specifications.
• Operate a 15‑foot press and assist with a 500‑ton production machine.
• Read work orders, blueprints, and production instructions.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate production records.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.

• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of industrial machine operating experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and move materials throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working around industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment.
