What you'll be doing
  • Set up and operate wet, band, and circular power saws
  • Cut raw materials to specified lengths and contours using work orders and engineering drawings
  • Install appropriate saw blades based on material type
  • Set stop gauges, saw speeds, and indexing mechanisms for accurate production
  • Review work orders, drawings, and inspection requirements before beginning each job
  • Verify finished parts meet dimensional and quality specifications
  • Monitor material quality and report defects or non-conformances
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow all company health, safety, and quality procedures

What we're looking for Required
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience operating industrial power saws or similar manufacturing equipment preferred
  • Ability to read work orders and engineering drawings
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Experience using measuring instruments
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality
Preferred
  • Previous manufacturing or fabrication experience
  • Experience working with composite materials
  • Preventative maintenance experience
  • Forklift or material handling experience
