Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the coatings industry, is seeking a Production Operator - 5 to join their team. As a Production Operator - 5, you will be part of the manufacturing support team, contributing to efficient production processes and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:Production Operator - 5
Location:Houston, TX
Shift:1st shift:
Monday - Friday 6am-2:30pm, Some Saturday when needed
- Execute assigned production tasks following established procedures to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency
- Operate and maintain production assets safely, reporting any safety or quality issues promptly
- Perform daily maintenance, data collection, and administrative tasks related to production processes
- Assist with tank washing, cleaning equipment, and maintaining a clean work environment
- Support material handling, including operating forklifts and managing raw materials and finished goods
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow safety instructions and guidelines
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and obtain certification if required
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
- Physical ability to lift containers up to 75 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to chemicals and varying temperatures
