Press Brake Operator
This role operates a 20-foot, 500-ton press brake to machine a wide range of metal cones from carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. You set up and run the press brake using specific dies, following prints and job orders to press, bend, and form parts to precise angles and measurements in a heavy fabrication environment.
Essential Skills- At least 5 years of hands-on press brake operating experience.
- Proficiency operating a press brake in a heavy fabrication environment.
- Demonstrated experience pressing a variety of materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Experience working with a range of material thicknesses and adjusting setups accordingly.
- Ability to work with multiple dies to produce different parts and shapes.
- Strong press brake machine and general press machine operating skills.
This position is based in an open-aired heavy fabrication environment, working with large industrial press brakes and fabrication equipment. The role follows a day shift schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with Saturdays scheduled as needed to meet production demands.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX 77064.
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
