Job Title: Fiberglass Technician Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Fiberglass Technician with hands‑on skills in fiberglass application and operation of a chopper gun or gel coat gun. The ideal candidate has strong technical ability, attention to detail, and at least 2 years of relevant experience. This role involves producing high‑quality fiberglass components, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safe and efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply fiberglass materials using a chopper gun or gel coat gun.
  • Prepare molds, surfaces, and materials for fiberglass application.
  • Mix resins, catalysts, and coatings according to specifications.
  • Inspect finished products for quality, thickness, and consistency.
  • Perform repairs, touch‑ups, and refinishing as needed.
  • Maintain tools, spray guns, and production equipment.
  • Follow safety procedures and proper handling of chemicals and materials.
  • Work with production teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum 2 years of fiberglass experience
    .
  • Experience operating a chopper gun or gel coat gun
    .
  • Ability to read and follow production instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Good attendance and work ethic.
  • Bilingual Preferred
  • Energetic

Preferred:

  • More than 2 years of fiberglass or composite manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in marine, automotive, industrial, or custom fabrication environments.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, bend, and work with hands for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working around chemicals, resins, and fiberglass materials.
