Silverwell is seeking an experienced Electro/Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our Manufacturing team in Houston, TX.

The role is essential to ensuring high‑quality assembly, testing, and maintenance of our products in alignment with our engineering and quality standards.

This is a full-time temporary position through January 31, 2027, with benefits. The role offers a possible transition to a permanent position based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read, interpret, and follow assembly procedures, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other instructions to accurately assemble and test products.
  • Record all manufacturing data (travellers, build instructions, etc.) to ensure consistent quality and traceability.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company quality standards.
  • Identify part or product defects and complete the required documentation.
  • Perform basic soldering and verification on electrical components.
  • Assemble and test mechanical components.
  • Operate and maintain pressure vessels.
  • Complete all work in accordance with safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Keep equipment operational by performing preventative maintenance tasks.
Candidate Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem‑solving.
  • Electronic soldering components experience.
