Gas Turbine Mechanic / Mechanical Assembler III

Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week | Approximately 12-Month Contract

We are seeking an experienced Gas Turbine Mechanic to support the inspection, overhaul, repair, and assembly of rotating equipment in a workshop environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on mechanical professional with gas turbine repair experience who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment and working in a fast-paced industrial setting.

• Troubleshoot, inspect, assemble, disassemble, and test rotating equipment
• Perform visual inspections and identify equipment deficiencies
• Repair and modify non-conforming components and equipment
• Utilize hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools safely and effectively
• Operate precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges
• Read and interpret complex mechanical and assembly drawings
• Follow detailed work instructions and repair procedures
• Support overhaul and repair activities while meeting production deadlines
• Utilize ERP systems for documentation and process tracking
• Provide technical support across operations as needed
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 5 years of gas turbine overhaul and repair experience
• Experience with one or more of the following:
  • GE10
  • PGT
    10
  • PGT
    25
  • Frame 3
  • Frame 5
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
• Experience using precision measuring instruments
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work overtime and extended hours as needed

• Manufacturing, Industrial, Energy, or Oil & Gas experience
• Rotating equipment repair and overhaul experience
• ERP system experience
• Strong knowledge of safety and HSE requirements

The ideal candidate has extensive experience overhauling and repairing gas turbines, possesses strong mechanical aptitude, can read technical drawings, and is comfortable working in a hands-on industrial environment while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
