HSE Director - Data Center Equipment Manufacturing

The HSE Manufacturing Director is an executive leadership role responsible for developing and leading enterprise Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) programs across Integra's manufacturing operations. This individual will establish world-class safety systems that support the production of mission-critical infrastructure used in hyperscale data centers, including electrical power modules, cooling systems, prefabricated mechanical and electrical assemblies, custom enclosures, and other modular infrastructure.

This is not a traditional construction safety role. We are seeking a manufacturing HSE leader with demonstrated experience in data center equipment manufacturing or a comparable industrial manufacturing environment involving complex electrical and mechanical products. Candidates from manufacturers of switch gear, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, cooling systems, modular infrastructure, industrial electrical equipment, or similar high-tech manufacturing environments are highly preferred.

Reporting to the Vice President of Safety, the HSE Manufacturing Director will partner closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Operations, Procurement, Commissioning, and Executive Leadership to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing operations while supporting rapid business growth.

• Develop and execute the enterprise manufacturing HSE strategy across multiple facilities.
• Build standardized HSE programs, policies, training, and compliance systems.
• Partner with executive leadership to align safety with production, quality, operational excellence, and business objectives.
• Create scalable safety systems that support growth across multiple manufacturing facilities and product lines.
• Serve as the senior HSE authority for manufacturing operations.

• Lead HSE oversight for fabrication, assembly, testing, material handling, prefabrication, and production operations.

• Provide HSE leadership for manufacturing operations involving critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, NEC, and hazardous energy control requirements.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Commissioning teams during assembly, testing, startup, and factory acceptance activities.

• Develop enterprise audit programs and compliance systems.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action programs.
• Maintain risk registers and identify emerging safety trends before incidents occur.
• Develop executive dashboards and KPIs to measure HSE performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen manufacturing safety and operational performance.

• Develop training and competency programs for manufacturing employees, supervisors, and leaders.
• Coach management on safety leadership, accountability, and risk-based decision making.
• Promote a culture where stop-work authority, employee engagement, and continuous improvement are core values.
• Partner with HR and Operations on onboarding, leadership development, and workforce engagement initiatives.
• Oversee environmental compliance programs including waste management, chemical handling, spill prevention, and regulatory reporting.
• Ensure manufacturing facilities maintain safe working conditions through effective emergency preparedness, fire protection, housekeeping, and facility safety programs.
• Coordinate emergency response planning with local agencies and internal stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, Manufacturing, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Technology, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of progressive HSE leadership experience within manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated experience supporting Data Center Equipment Manufacturing OR similar industrial manufacturing environments involving complex electrical or mechanical products is strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting manufacturing of electrical equipment, switch gear, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, cooling systems, modular infrastructure, HVAC equipment, industrial machinery, or comparable products.
• 5+ years leading HSE teams, programs, or multi-site manufacturing operations.
