The CNC Programmercreates code formachinery which cuts raw materials into functional items. Theyare responsible for interpreting projectblueprints,designing programs.

They must be available toassistthe floor in performingan initialvalidation runand adjust the programuntil the resulting product meets blueprint specifications.

• Read technical drawings and set up the machinesin accordance withtheseblueprints
• Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machinesaccordingly
• Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications
• Adjust machine cutting paths or settings tooptimizeproduction whilemaintainingquality
• Consider toolsrequiredto cutparticular materials and program machinesaccordingly
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems withprograms and toolingas theyarise

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting is required
• High School diploma required
• Must have strong attention todetail
• Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems thatarise

• Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential
• Should have a positive and professionalattitude
• Available to work weekends and overtime
• Capable of standing for extended periods of time
• Ability tolift upto 25 pounds for short periods oftime

• While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required tostand,walkand reach with hands and arms.
