Job Summary
Perform materials processing operations on inventory according to work orders or directed by supervisor.

Job FunctionOperate and monitor Kinetic machine, including plasma cutting, drilling, milling, and other automated metal fabrication equipment.
Set up machines according to customer's drawings, blueprints, work orders, and production specifications.
Load, position, and secure raw materials to ensure accurate machining and efficient production.
Program, edit, or verify machine parameters to meet quality and production requirements.
Perform routine machine inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Monitor machine performance and adjust cutting speeds, feeds, and tooling as necessary to maintain product quality.
Conduct quality inspections using measuring instruments to verify dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes.
Interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and manufacturing specifications to produce precision components.
Maintain production records, machine logs, and quality documentation accurately and completely.
Identify equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs with maintenance personnel when required.
Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout practices, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and OSHA/company safety standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following housekeeping standards.
Assist in continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, waste reduction, and overall equipment effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer specifications throughout the manufacturing process.
Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment as authorized and required.
Train and mentor new operators on machine operation, safety procedures, and quality expectations.
Support production operations by working assigned shifts, overtime, or weekends as needed.
Report production issues, quality concerns, and safety hazards promptly to supervisors.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support manufacturing and operational objectives.
Required Knowledge & SkillsMinimum 1 year Steel processing, warehousing or other CNC type processing applications.
Required Skills- Minimum 1 year Steel processing, burning, cutting, drilling, warehousing or other CNC type processing applications.
