The Work You’ll Be DoingIn this role, you will:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills for precision machining
- Write and edit G-code at the machine
- Perform simple programming and program adjustments
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Select tooling, set offsets, and verify work holding
- Run small-to-medium part production with high attention to detail
- Perform first-article and in-process inspection
- Use calipers, bore gauges, and other tools to verify part quality
- Monitor machine performance and adjust feeds/speeds as needed
- Perform basic machine maintenance and upkeep
- Troubleshoot machining and production issues with the team
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Solid understanding of setups, tooling, and offsets - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and quality
- Experience with gun drilling
- Experience with Mitsubishi Meldas controls
- Machine repair or maintenance experience
- Forklift experience
