We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer / CNC Mill & Lathe Operator to join our Houston, TX manufacturing team.
This is a hands-on position for someone who understands the complete machining process—from reading drawings and creating programs to setting tools, running production, making offsets, and inspecting finished parts.

This is a hands-on position for someone who understands the complete machining process—from reading drawings and creating programs to setting tools, running production, making offsets, and inspecting finished parts.
Key Responsibilities- Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and CNC lathes
- Create, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T
- Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies
- Set tool offsets, work offsets, and machine parameters
- Perform machine setups and make adjustments during production
- Operate machines independently from setup through completion
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary program or offset adjustments
- Maintain tight tolerances and consistent part quality
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area organized
- Follow safety procedures and production requirements
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience
- Strong experience with CNC mills and/or CNC lathes
- Must be capable of programming CNC machines
, not just operating them - Ability to independently set up and run machines
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
- Experience with tool selection, offsets, speeds, and feeds
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
- Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, or similar CNC controls
- Experience with conversational programming and/or G-code
- Experience machining both prototype and production parts
- Experience with tight-tolerance precision machining
- CNC programming experience using CAM software is a plus
