Apache Workforce is hiring Mechanical Assemblers for multiple industrial manufacturing partners. These roles involve hands-on assembly of mechanical systems, equipment, and components in a production shop environment.
This position offers long-term growth potential, including advancement into lead-level roles based on performance and experience.
What You’ll Be DoingMechanical Assemblers may be responsible for:
- Assembling mechanical components and sub-assemblies using blueprints and work instructions
- Using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and basic powered equipment to complete assembly tasks
- Installing mechanical parts such as frames, panels, piping, tubing, and hardware
- Performing quality checks using measuring, alignment, and torque tools
- Identifying and reporting defective materials or inconsistencies
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Supporting production flow and assisting other departments as needed
- Following all safety procedures and manufacturing standards
- Other duties as assigned
- 2-5 years of mechanical assembly or related manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and assembly instructions
- Familiarity with mechanical systems, fasteners, and structural components
- Experience with measuring tools (torque wrenches, levels, calipers, etc.)
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Forklift or material handling experience is a plus
- Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply
- Experience in ISO-certified manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with P&, ISO drawings, or fabrication prints
- Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, or CAD tools
Work is performed in an industrial shop environment and may involve:
- Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
- Standing, bending, and repetitive movement throughout the shift
- Exposure to non-climate-controlled conditions
- Use of PPE (safety glasses, steel-toe boots, hearing protection as needed)
- Shifts up to 10 hours per day, up to 6 days per week depending on assignment
