Hempstead / Houston, TX 77040

Pay Range: $19.00 - $24.00 / hour (DOE)

Shift: 1st Shift (Starts at 6:00 AM
-4:30pm | 9+ Hour Days) & 2nd shift(4:30pm-3:30am) with OT & some Saturdays required

Schedule:

Monday – Friday (Must be available to work weekends as needed)

Testing Requirement:
Must pass a 3G Weld Test using .045 Flux Core wire.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Fitter/Welder to fabricate and assemble structural metal components. In this role, you will read blueprints, precisely measure and fit metal parts, and weld assemblies using MIG and FCAW processes to ensure maximum structural integrity and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols.
• Measure, cut, shape, align, and fit metal components prior to welding.
• Perform high-quality MIG (GMAW) and Flux Core (FCAW) welds.
• Inspect finished welds and structural assemblies for quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain welding equipment, follow all safety protocols, and keep a clean workspace.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Fitter and Welder in a manufacturing or heavy industrial setting.
• Proficiency with metal fabrication tools, overhead cranes, and measuring devices.
• AWS Certification or formal welding training is preferred.
• Knowledge of welding standards (AWS, ASME, API) is a plus

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $19.00 - $24.00 Per Hour
