Job Title: Core Technician
Location:14905 Kirby Drive Houston, TX 77047
Shift: Night Shift – 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts – 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
Duration:6 months contract – potential for extension or conversion to direct hire

Training Requirement:
Must be available to train on First Shift, Monday through Friday, for the first 4–6 weeks before transitioning to the permanent night shift schedule.
Overview:
The Core Technician is a scientist-level role responsible for performing a variety of activities supporting the production of sterile biological pharmaceutical products. The position requires strong attention to safety, quality, cGMP compliance, and adherence to established procedures while working primarily in a cleanroom environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform activities associated with the production of sterile biological pharmaceutical products
- Follow written procedures, guidelines, processes, and work instructions accurately
- Recognize and report deviations from established procedures or accepted practices
- Maintain compliance with cGMP requirements and quality systems
- Follow all applicable safety policies, rules, regulations, and procedures
- Support and promote a strong safety culture within the production team
- Ensure team members follow established safety and quality requirements
- Maintain compliance with manufacturing processes, procedures, and work instructions
- Work primarily in a controlled cleanroom environment
- Follow required cleanroom gowning and aseptic practices
- Support team performance through coaching, collaboration, and continuous feedback
- Help establish clear objectives, monitor progress, and manage competing priorities
- Coordinate resources and responsibilities to support production activities
- Provide direction and leadership to team members when needed
- Promote a positive work environment and effective interdepartmental collaboration
- Majority of work is performed in a cleanroom environment
- Full cleanroom gowning is required, including:
- Scrubs
- Hairnet
- Shoe covers
- Hood
- Gown
- Mask
- Boots
- Two pairs of gloves
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences preferred
- Basic laboratory experience with a Bachelor's Degree, OR
- Intermediate laboratory experience within a cGMP clinical production environment with a High School Diploma
- Laboratory experience preferred
- 1–3 years of relevant experience
- Must be available for the required night shift schedule
- Must be available to complete First Shift training for the first 4–6 week
