General Laborer

Join a team that designs, manufactures, and supplies electrical power solutions for the broader power market. As a General Laborer, you support the assembly and production of electrical power products using hand and power tools, following work instructions and basic electronic plans. You contribute to a collaborative environment where quality, safety, and reliability are the top priorities.

Responsibilities
  • Perform assembly tasks using hand and power tools, including torque guns and manual torque tools, to tighten bolts and secure components.
  • Install resistors, ceramics, and other predrilled components onto products according to work instructions and production requirements.
  • Follow electronic work instructions and E-plans on a tablet to complete basic wiring and assembly steps accurately.
  • Use measuring tools such as tape measures and follow blueprints or assembly drawings to ensure proper fit and alignment of parts.
  • Carry out repetitive production and general labor tasks efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail and quality.
  • Support mechanical, electronic, and construction-related assembly activities as needed in a manufacturing environment.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the use of required personal protective equipment such as steel-toe footwear.
  • Collaborate with team members, communicate effectively, and contribute to problem-solving efforts on the production floor.
  • Follow work instructions and production schedules to meet daily output and quality targets.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and handle materials in accordance with waste management and facility procedures.
  • Remain flexible and available for extended shifts, including potential 12-hour days, to support production demands.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency using hand tools and power tools, including torque guns and manual torque tools.
  • Ability to perform repetitive assembly and general labor tasks with consistent accuracy and quality.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Capability to stand and work on your feet for shifts that may extend up to 12 hours.
  • Comfort reading and following instructions on a tablet, including basic electronic plans for wiring.
  • Ability to follow work instructions, blueprints, and production guidelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork skills and willingness to collaborate and support others on the production line.
  • Demonstrated initiative and a proactive approach to tasks and problem solving.
  • Reliability in meeting attendance, punctuality, and production expectations.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with assembly, mechanical production, or electronic assembly tasks.
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation is a plus.
  • Background in construction, carpentry, waste management, or CNC environments is beneficial.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse, multilingual environment, including Spanish-speaking teams.
  • Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility.
  • Willingness to follow company policies regarding tools and equipment, including not bringing personal tools to the workplace.

Work Environment
