Structural Fitter
We are seeking a skilled structural fitter who excels in laying out, aligning, and fitting up structures and small pipes at various angles. This role requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols, as well as calculate the necessary materials for layout tasks. The position involves using fabrication equipment to cut, grind, press, and burn materials to ensure precise fits.
The work will include special designs, not just production fits.
Essential Skills
- 4+ years of structural fitting experience.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and weld symbols.
- Ability to tack weld using MIG welding.
- Experience in fabrication, structure, and structural fitting.
- Competency in using P& blueprint reading.
Work Environment
Work in an open-aired, clean shop with operating hours from 7 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday, and Saturdays as needed. Currently, the hours are 6 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, and 6 am to 2:30 pm on Saturdays. These hours may vary throughout the year.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX 77064.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
