We bring you tomorrow's opportunity, today. Volt is immediately hiring Case Assembler in Houston, TX 77039.
As a Case Assembler, you will:- Assemble enclosures using a variety of hand and power tools and fixtures.
- Follow work instructions and test equipment.
- Perform a series of operations to meet production schedules and quality standards including modifying parts as necessary for proper fit.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures.
- Assemble enclosures and related parts in a timely manner.
- Able to safely and correctly operate hand and power tools and machinery, including forklifts, semi-automated material handling equipment, and overhead cranes.
- Participate in training and continuing education.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Work overtime as required.

RequiredSkills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Relevant work experience with a minimum of one year in electrical and/or mechanical assembly in a manufacturing facility.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision in a safe and efficient manner.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Experienced in the proper and safe use of hand and light power tools.
- Positions requires to lift parts weighing in excess of 50 pounds (assistance when needed) and to work in a bending, standing, or squatting positions for long periods of time (excess of one hour).
- Effective communication skills: verbal and written (English).
- Follow written and/or oral instructions in English.
- Pass forklift certifications and requirements to operate forklifts.
$14.00 to $15.00 per hour
* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
