Our client, a leader in electrical manufacturing, is seeking an Electrical Assembly and Test Tech to join their team. As an Electrical Assembly and Test Tech, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting electrical assembly and testing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electrical Assembly and Test Tech

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Range: $28hr-$30hr

Shift: 1st Shift (6am - 2:30pm)

What's the Job?

  • Assemble, wire, and test electrical components such as relays, switches, transformers, circuit breakers, terminal blocks, etc., while upholding safety standards
  • Install completed assemblies into cabinets and enclosures as required
  • Accurately layout and position assembly components for construction feasibility and ease of maintenance
  • Participate in switch rack construction, including bus fabrication, enclosure construction, and wiring of complete assemblies
  • Complete Eaton Qualified Electrical Worker training and perform functional testing of products, troubleshooting quality challenges as needed

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • At least 2 years of experience in complex electrical assembly and testing with relevant electrical certification or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience, including piping, conduits, and threading
  • Ability to work overtime as required
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification prior to start

¿ Qué harás?

  • Ensamblar, cablear y probar component es eléctricos como relés, interruptores, transformadores, disyuntores, bloques terminales, etc., cumpliendo con las normas de seguridad
  • Instalar los ensamblajes terminados en gabinetes y recintos según sea necesario
  • Planificar y posicionar con precisión los component es del ensamblaje para facilitar la construcción y mantenimiento futuros
  • Participar en la construcción de racks de conmutación, incluyendo fabricación de buses, construcción de recintos y cableado de ensamblajes completos
