Meat Trimmer

Gourmet Ranch LLC in Houston, TX is seeking a reliable Meat Trimmer to precisely trim and portion beef, pork, and poultry for restaurant and food service customers. Responsibilities include cutting and deboning product to spec, removing excess fat and bone, inspecting quality, and minimizing waste. The Meat Trimmer will follow strict food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines while operating knives and cutting tools safely.

The role requires standing for long periods in a refrigerated environment, working as part of a fast-paced production team, and meeting daily production and quality targets with accuracy and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Trim and portion beef, pork, and poultry to customer and company specifications
• Debone, remove excess fat, and prepare cuts to maximize yield and minimize waste
• Inspect meat for quality, freshness, and consistency before and during processing
• Follow all food safety, HACCP, and sanitation procedures in a refrigerated environment
• Safely operate knives and cutting tools, maintaining sharpness and proper handling
• Package, label, and stage finished product for orders and shipment
• Meet daily production, accuracy, and quality targets in a fast-paced setting
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with end-of-shift cleanup
• Work collaboratively with production and logistics teams to meet customer deadlines
