Shift: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Thursday

* We're hiring experienced Forklift Operators for a well-established client in Houston, TX. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering competitive pay and on-site interviews.

** TOP REQUIREMENTS:*
* + Ability to load and unload trucks

+ Comfortable moving unpalletized materials

+

Experience with inventory management

+ Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

** Responsibilities:*
* + Safely operate and maintain forklifts

+ Load/unload trailers including sheet orders (with or without pallets)

+ Store and scan finished products correctly in shipping locations

+ Check units and load tags for accuracy, report discrepancies

+ Complete daily forklift inspection forms and report maintenance needs

+ Ensure all units loaded for delivery meet required standards (banding, wrapping, covering)

+ Locate and deliver stock to required machines before production runs

+ Remove and store finished goods properly

+ Keep work and storage areas neat, orderly, and safe

+ Accurately maintain inventory location via paperwork and computer

+ Complete required paperwork accurately and on time

+ Assist other forklift operators as needed

+ Follow safety protocols and all company policies

+ Perform additional duties as assigned

** Requirements:*
* + High school diploma or GED

+ Ability to read, speak, write, and comprehend English

+ Willingness to work overtime as needed

+ Ability to lift 25-50 lbs. on a consistent basis

+ Proficient in reading a tape measure

+ Previous shipping forklift experience is required

+ Prior experience in the corrugated box industry is strongly preferred

** Work Environment:*
* + Warehouse setting with regular noise and interruptions

+ Some time spent at a computer terminal

+ Physical role with frequent walking, use of hands, and occasional lifting
