Structural Fitter

We are seeking a skilled Structural Fitter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fitting large structural carbon pieces such as I-beams and other large components for skids. You will utilize hand tools and measuring equipment, along with tack welding techniques, to ensure precision and quality in your work.

Responsibilities:

• Fit large structural carbon pieces, including I-beams and other components for skids.
• Utilize hand tools and measuring equipment for precise fitting.
• Perform tack welding to secure components.
• Ensure all structural fittings meet quality standards.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience as a structural fitter in a manufacturing company.
• Proficiency in fitting I-beams, square tubing, and skids.
• Ability to perform tack welding.
• Competence in using all hand tools and measuring tools.

Additional Skills &

Qualifications:

• Experience in a non-climate controlled manufacturing shop environment.

Work Environment:

You will work in a manufacturing shop that is non-climate controlled, focusing on day shifts from 6AM to 6PM. The environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail and safety.

This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX 77051.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
