Machine Operator – Frame Reinforcement

• Set up, operate, or tend welding, soldering, or brazing machines for metal products, components, or assemblies
• Turn and press knobs and buttons or enter operating instructions into welding machines
• Set up, operate, or tend welding machines that join or bond components to fabricate metal products or assemblies
• Load or feed work pieces into welding machines to join or bond components
• Correct problems by adjusting controls or stopping machines and opening holding devices
• Inspect, measure, or test completed metal work pieces for conformance to specifications using measuring and testing devices
• Record operational information on specified production reports
• Read blueprints, work orders, or production schedules to determine product or job instructions or specifications
• Assemble, align, and clamp work pieces into holding fixtures to bond, heat-treat, or solder fabricated metal components
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervision

• Temporary position
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED certificate and/or industrial experience
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
• Basic mathematical and mechanical aptitude
• Willingness to learn new skills and take instruction from other team members
• Must observe and adhere to all safety rules and practices, including PPE requirements
• Work boots and long pants are required
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, pulling, reaching, and stooping

Demonstrates proficiency in operating and tending welding machines, with a strong understanding of safety practices and the ability to read blueprints and specifications. Capable of performing quality inspections and adjustments to ensure conformance to production standards.
