We are hiring an Operations | Manufacturing Team Member
to join our operations team at our Houston site. In this role you'll be responsible for assembling and inspecting medical devices and related assemblies in compliance with company procedures and ensuring that production schedules and quality criteria are met. Primary Activities
  • Assemble, test and/or inspect medical devices in compliance with company procedures.

  • Works within one of the following specialty areas: SMT, Test and Screen, BBFT, Seam Welding, Header Attach, Helicals Welding, Helical Completions, Lead Finals, Wands, Tablets, Packaging, Labeling, Ancillaries, Repro.

  • Ensure that work orders are completed on a timely basis.

  • Ensure traceability compliance by maintaining accurate production documentation.

  • Maintain accurate material inventory.

  • Identify possible process or product improvements.

  • Ensure all production activities are in full compliance with all regulatory, Quality System and GMP requirements.

  • Perform other duties as may be required by management.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School graduate or equivalent.

  • Must be able to read, comprehend and follow general work procedures.

  • Good listening and communication skills.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Flexible working schedule.

Desired

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably medical device.

  • Good initiative, self-reliance and professionalism a plus.

  • Experience working in an ISO 9001 or GMP manufacturing environment.

  • Clean room environment or soldering experience.

  • Ability to visually inspect or test components, assemblies or devices in accordance with written procedures and identify defects.

  • Familiar with basic measuring equipment, and a variety of manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures.

Additional Information
  • Compensation: The target hourly pay rate ranges from $17/hr - $22/hr plus annual bonus.

  • Location: Clear Lake, TX (Southeast Houston Area)
