Pump Reliability Solutions is hiring a Quality Control Inspector to make sure every API pump part, machined component, and welded repair leaving our Houston shop meets spec — down to the tenth of a thousandth of an inch (0.0001").

What You'll Do- Inspect API pump parts (casings, impellers, shafts, sleeves, seals) for conformance to drawings and specs
- Inspect manufactured/fabricated parts for dimensional accuracy and material integrity
- Evaluate welded repairs against structural, visual, and code standards (AWS/ASME)
- Take precision measurements with micrometers, calipers, and height gauges, to 0.0001"
- Document findings and partner with production/engineering on corrective actions
- 3+ years in QC/inspection — API pumps, rotating equipment, or precision machining
- Background as a pump/rotating equipment mechanic a strong plus
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- NDT/ASNT Level II (PT) certification a plus, not required
- Competitive pay: $26–$38/hour, depending on experience
