* For a manufacturing and logistics operation in Houston, Texas, we are seeking a Production Clerk to support frame receiving, frame tracing, lens receiving, and lens picking activities on-site. The role requires consistent attention to detail, accurate matching of work orders and inventory, and the ability to handle small components in a fast-paced production environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime available if needed.

Candidates should be comfortable working in a hands-on environment where precision, coordination, and repeatable processes are essential to supporting daily production flow.

+ Temp-to-perm opportunity within a manufacturing and logistics environment.

** What You Will Do?*
* + Match and verify incoming frames against work orders that are waiting for the frames to arrive.

+ Remove lenses from frames, operate tracing machines, mark lenses for axis orientation, and calibrate tracing machines.

+ Match frames and lenses to support timely launch and prioritization of product.

+ Place lenses into the correct inventory locations and rotate stock according to required procedures.

+ Pick the correct lenses from shelves and use the work ticket to verify the lens selected is correct.

+ Complete production tasks with accuracy while maintaining focus on inventory control and work order integrity.

** Your Skills*
* + Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence in English.

+ Basic ability to add, subtract, understand decimal numerical sequencing, and compare number and letter sequences accurately.

+ Capability for coordinated hand and finger use to grasp, feel objects, and transfer small items.

+ Ability to perform fine manipulation and bilateral reach with both arms as required.

+ Ability to stand in one place for eight or more hours per day and complete repetitive motions.

+ Preferred: highly skilled in 60% of the assigned job tasks and 3 to 5 years of experience in a Distribution/Inventory environment.

+ High School Diploma or GED is required.
