Industrial Painter Full-Time Position
Location:
Houston, TX 77084
Schedule:
Monday– Thursday, 6: 00 AM– 4: 30 PM Pay Rate: $24.00/hour
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to prepare and paint industrial components and equipment.
Responsibilities- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, grinding, masking, and removing contaminants
- Mix and prepare paints, coatings, primers, and other materials according to specifications
- Apply industrial coatings using spray guns and other painting equipment
- Maintain consistent coverage, thickness, and finish quality
- Inspect completed work for defects, uneven coverage, runs, drips, or other imperfections
- Perform touch-ups and corrections as needed
- Follow production specifications, work instructions, and quality standards
- Properly clean and maintain spray guns, tools, and painting equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE
- Communicate equipment issues, material shortages, and quality concerns to supervisors
- Previous industrial painting experience required
- Experience with spray painting and industrial coatings strongly preferred
- Knowledge of surface preparation and paint application techniques
- Ability to read and follow work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and equipment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting
- Ability to work around paint, coatings, fumes, dust, and industrial equipment
- Ability to wear required PPE, including respirator/respiratory protection when applicable
- Ability to safely handle materials and painting equipment
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Industrial Painter looking for a consistent Monday– Thursday schedule and $24/hour pay.
