Pay Range: $18.00hr - $25.00hr Requirement/Must Have:
High school diploma or GED. 3+ years of related manufacturing assembly and testing of relief valves, chemical injection pumps, control/dump/check valves, butterfly valves, or liquid level controllers/switches. Experience in ERP systems. Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to operate assembly and testing equipment properly and safely. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and Bills of Material (BOM). Ability to use hand tools, power tools, presses, assembly equipment and product test equipment. Ability to use personal computer and/or workstation. Ability to meet TAKT Time and quality standards. Demonstrates good interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Ability to use torque wrenches. Effectively use email to communicate potential risks to safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
Complete understanding of applicable middleware software applications and demonstrate the ability to navigate options. Ability to use Windchill, complete problem report, and follow through with changes as required. Ability to interface with inter-departments to meet the goals of the business. Knowledge of Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies. Responsibilities:
Assemble finished products, components, or sub-assemblies of oil and gas valves and chemical injection pumps. Follow company and OSHA safety procedures including the use of steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and uniforms. Read work instructions, work orders, production drawings, and sample assemblies. Interpret assembly instructions, drawings, schematics, and engineering specifications to build and test quality products. Assemble, test, and package products built on the line.
Disassemble and repair products returned by customers as needed. Set up moderate to semi complex test equipment to measure and record assembly conformance to test specifications. Set up test stands with appropriate plumbing for pneumatic and hydrostatic tests. Complete required test documentation including test reports. Inspect and document all materials, heat numbers, components, and subassemblies to ensure quality standards. Participate in Lean events and active involvement in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Report unsafe acts or conditions to supervision immediately. Assist in orienting, training, and checking the work of less experienced assemblers. Ensure accurate movement of inventory through assigned areas including transactions and production reporting. Execute and track shift performance with GEMBA boards daily ensuring root-cause analysis. Complete Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) including inventory transactions. Complete and report PR's and ECN reports. Perform layered process audits and quality audits as assigned.
Utilize Oracle to navigate and execute tasks to complete work orders, WIP transactions, and material requirements.
