The Yard Operator will independently operate standard forklifts to transport mid-size precast elements, load/unload trailers, and maintain safe, organized yard operations. This role is essential in supporting production, shipping, and logistics.
Key Responsibilities- Operate forklifts up to ~30,000 lbs. safely and effectively.
- Move precast products to proper staging areas.
- Load/unload trailers following safety and weight protocols.
- Follow Locke's SOPs for handling precast elements.
- Assist with wheel loader, excavator, and skid steer operations.
- Support yard efficiency and workflow.
- 6 months-2 years forklift/yard experience.
- Forklift certification and site-specific training.
