Assembly Associate — Job Description

Position Summary:
The Assembly Associate is responsible for assembling products and components according to work instructions, drawings, and quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work safely in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble components and products using hand and power tools.
• Follow work instructions, drawings, and standard operating procedures.
• Inspect completed assemblies for quality and accuracy.
• Identify and report defects, damaged materials, or equipment issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Properly handle materials, tools, and equipment.
• Complete production records and documentation as required.
• Work effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred but not always required.
• Basic ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude and good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

Work Environment:
Manufacturing/production environment. May require standing for extended periods and lifting materials up to the company’s specified weight limit. PPE and safety requirements must be followed.
