Schedule:

This opportunity is based on a Welder career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Vocational training, welding certification, or technical education is beneficial. Experience Requirements Previous TIG and/or MIG welding experience required Experience welding stainless steel, precious metals, and semi-precious metals preferred Ability to maintain welding certifications and qualifications
Job Duties Perform TIG and MIG welding on production and prototype instrumentation parts Weld a variety of materials, including stainless steel and specialty metals Operate and assist with programmed welding machines as needed Set up welding fixtures and prepare materials for production Ensure welds meet quality standards and pass destructive and non-destructive testing requirements Maintain product-specific welding certifications Support prototype and production projects while meeting manufacturing deadlines Perform additional fabrication and production duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, structural welding, or production environments is preferred. Experience using grinders, saws, cutting equipment, and metal fabrication tools is beneficial. Knowledge of weld inspection, blueprint interpretation, and quality control procedures is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate craftsmanship, dependability, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Welder. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in welding positions throughout the shift.
Ability to lift metal components, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely wear welding helmets, gloves, and required personal protective equipment. Ability to safely work around welding equipment, sparks, heat, and fabrication machinery while following established safety procedures.
