This role plays a critical part in developing and executing communication strategies that align messaging and strengthen relationships across diverse audiences and channels to support Tallgrass' business priorities. Job Description Primary Purpose

Tallgrass is seeking a dynamic, experienced Communications Manager to lead and support strategic communication initiatives that enhance stakeholder engagement, advance organizational goals, and strengthen its reputation and operational effectiveness.

This role plays a critical part in developing and executing communication strategies that align messaging and strengthen relationships across diverse audiences and channels to support Tallgrass' business priorities. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to translate complex information and concepts into clear, compelling, and effective communications.

Tallgrass' Communications team manages both internal and external communications and provides enterprise-wide support to the entire Tallgrass organization.

Experience/Specific Knowledge
  • 8-10 years experience in communications, public relations, corporate communications, or stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven ability to lead communication strategy and execution in complex environments.
  • Strong skills in developing creative communication materials and managing multi‑channel campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and prioritization capabilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across diverse groups.
  • Self‑motivated with a high degree of initiative and accountability.
  • Proficiency in common office software applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, if required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field.
  • Experience working with external vendors and cross‑functional teams.
