Role OverviewCrawford is looking for an Events & Field Marketing Specialist to support our growing Marketing Team. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys planning, coordinating details, and helping teams put on successful customer events. The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, and energized by bringing people together, whether it's a grand opening, tradeshow, customer training session, or manufacturer supported event.
EssentialResponsibilities
- Coordinate customer events across Crawford's 65+ branches in 8 southeastern states, including counter days, open houses, customer trainings, appreciation events, and new branch openings
- Manage event logistics such as rentals, catering, decor, signage, promotional materials, swag, and onsite setup
- Provide onsite support for multiple events per month, including setup and vendor coordination, check-in, and breakdown
- Partner with sales teams to ensure events align with local market needs and drive customer engagement
- Coordinate with manufacturing partners to secure sponsor ships, giveaways, and promotional support
- Schedule and lead internal planning meetings and maintain agendas, action items, and communications
- Manage timelines, budgets, and planning documents for all events and field initiatives
- Manage service provider relationships including gathering quotes, scheduling, and invoicing
- Keep organized records of event details, relevant contacts, and marketing assets
- Work with the marketing team to promote events and gather content
- Provide field teams with tools and guidance to drive strong attendance
- Use Crawford's tech stack to manage RSVPs, registrations, and communication
- Communicate event updates and registration lists with field leadership
- Track event performance including attendance and engagement
- Collect feedback from sales teams, vendors, and attendees
- Maintain a calendar of events and field marketing activities
- Identify opportunities to improve future events and streamline processes
- Assist with invoicing, tracking, collecting, and reporting on vendor sponsor ships
- 2-4 years of experience in event coordination, field marketing, or related roles
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency with MS Office and basic design tools (Canva, Adobe, or similar)
- Experience in electrical distribution or B2B marketing is a plus
- Ability to lift and transport materials up to 30-40 lbs (event supplies, signage, swag boxes)
- Comfortable standing for extended periods during onsite event setup and execution
- Ability to work occasionally early mornings or evenings depending on event schedules
- Comfortable traveling frequently across multiple states and locations
